Disney - Sharing the Magic

At the Magic Kingdom, in the hub in front of Cinderella Castle at the end of Main Street USA is a wonderful statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse called "Partners". But "Partners" is not complete on its own. It requires the sculpture pictured above "Sharing the Magic" which features Roy Disney and Minnie Mouse to be complete. This sculpture is found right in the center of Town Square of Main Street USA. It is located basically right behind the flag pole. Both statues were sculptured by Blaine Gibson, a retired Imagineer for Disney, back in 1995 ("Partners") and 1999 ("Sharing the Magic"). The story behind the sculptures is that since Roy was never that "approachable" (or not nearly as much as Walt was), he had Minnie move across the bench, holding Roy's hand to make him more approachable...
