Lewis River Trestle

BNSF-Lewis River Railroad Bridge Trestle from the Northeast side is a 265.0 ft swing span bridge built around 1908. The bridge was constructed as part of a railroad project to directly connect Portland, Oregon with Seattle, Washington.

The swing span though still part of the bridge has not been operational for some time as evident by the condition of the tender house & gearing for the swing span. — in Woodland, Washington.
