Convergence of Elevated Roadways

A section of I-40 and related roadways in downtown Memphis at the origin of the Hernando de Soto Bridge over the Mississippi river.

I really hate this shot. Nothing turned out as expected. I spent hours processing this, but everything just looks sloppy, because it is, starting with the original shoot. It is HDRI, but it hardly gains anything from the original mid-exposure image. The flared out lights really caused me much of trouble. This was my first nighttime HDR, although it was taken at twilight.

Addendum regarding the colour, the only lighting in the scene was from the yellow street lights, which gave everything a very strong yellow hue. I was actually able to reduce it greatly, but reducing it even further would have seemed to result in even more unnatural colours.
