Ringo Dingo - OC&E Trail
This is an irrigation ditch next to the trail.
I am training for my tenth (or eleventh?) marathon so Ringo and I are spending a lot of time on this trail.
The OC&E Trail is a rail trail that rail banks the Oregon, California and Eastern Railway. This was a logging railway that transfered logs to the Weyerhaeuser mill in Klamath Falls from points East. Most of the trees are gone so he railway has become a trail until it is needed as a railway again. I am proud to have been a member with the original group that helped make this trail a realty. Along its 105-mile course it passes through the communities of Olene, Sprague River, Dairy, Beatty, and Bly.
These (and other) photos in my Flickr set, at this point, are the only ones I can find of this trail.
