Betty's Bus. Introduced in 1978 as a community bus

service operating along the narrow Ribble Valley

lanes, the midibus weas christened "Betty's Bus" by

regular passengers in appreciation of the regular

driver Betty Gray. One of the stops en route is to feed

the ducks at Downham."
