So this is the end. What a year.

I honestly had no idea what I was getting into when I started this. Looking back at the beginning of this project, I am completely overwhelmed by the growth in my photography. There’s still so much for me to improve upon, but I’m proud of what I’ve done.

There is a lot of thanks due here. I would not have been able to get through this year without considerable support and inspiration. First, to everyone who has viewed my photos, commented, favorited – thank you. Knowing that people see and appreciate my work means the world to me. Sam, dontaskandwewonttell, and Ksenia, and my lovely-amazing twin Ximena, you have all been incredible, and I want to thank you so much for your support throughout this year. Also, I'd be amiss not to thank Kristin, Crystal, and Kayla, who often heard the phrase "I'm going to the cemetery to shoot, if I don't come back, come find my body."

To Zack Ahern, Lissy Elle, and Anna Szczekutowicz, whose work originally inspired me to start this project, thank you. I found so much inspiration in your streams this year.

The last and biggest (please place an incredible amount of mental emphasis on that word) thanks I need to give is to a remarkable young woman and photographer who I am proud to call my friend. Nikki, I just can’t tell you how much your support has meant to me throughout this project. Not only have you motivated me on days when I almost wanted to give up, but your amazing work never ceases to inspire me. Good luck with the last ten days of your project!

I’m not going away. There will be more to come, possibly a 52 weeks project at some point, and a ton of photos when I go to Spain in May. I’m relieved that this is over, but I can’t wait to keep going and keep growing.

Always,

Emily
