Switching it up a bit today with a shot from the Pirates game I went to at PNC Park on Tuesday night. We had pretty decent seats, about ten rows from the first base line so I was able to get some pretty cool shots, including this one. I really liked the intense look the sky had here, and it is fitting that the sky was that shade of blue because they were playing the Dodgers, who are also blue, and LA beat up on them pretty bad, 10-3. Let's go Bucs tonight though!

New blog post today, The baseball blues! Check it out if you have a chance!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

This looks great large! Totally feel like I am at the game! That sky is killer and love the light from those two tall stadium light poles!

You know, I’ve never been to an MLB game in my life. I keep telling myself I’m gonna travel north and hit a Mariners game but they keep sucking so I change my mind. I am told, however, that Safeco Field is pretty cool. I don’t wanna go for just the field, though (if you know what I mean). =)

You’re correct about the sky, pretty dramatic. You can’t go wrong with that artificial light, either. The big stadiums always have great light for night games. Your seats had a cool view and the people add a lot to this, also. Nice shot, Dave.

Whoa, very cool. I have a good friend out there for the games against the Twins who I am giving a quick photog lesson for shooting ballparks. Hopefully he comes back with more photog knowledge and some great shots.
