Monster Green Lager Beer at Red Dot Brewhouse

Monster Green Lager Beer

Green Spirulina infused lager beer with health benefit, low hop

The beer was very cooling and the taste very refreshing. I would surely recommend it to all beer drinkers.

The service and the ambience is very good.

Location: Dempsey Road, Singapore

Happy hour: 4pm to 6pm

Good morning, Goa! This particular emerald 'monster' makes one thirsty even so early in the morning. Cheers.

Joel and PhillyFoto, thanks for your comments.

When I first saw the Green Monster concoction, I was in the realm of the unknown. I thought .. why not ? No regrests. I put it down to experience :)

    But way make it green??

Red Dot Brewhouse brew their own beer. The green colour in the beer is Spirulina. I guess it is a kind of novelty to drink a Green Beer. And this beer was good.

Green Beer I didnt know such thing existed :)

I have no problem with beer being green as part of the natural brewing process, just like you get red beer with a Belgian Kriek or Framboise. However, if it is added food colouring, as they do in North America for St. Patrick's Day, absolutely not!

Interesting...It has got to be better than just plain green beer.
