Nikon 10x microscope objective comparison
I've made a short test of 3 common and not really expensive microscope objective of the Nikon brand. The subject was the same parcel of a butterfly wing, the flatness left me take a non-deep focus stacking. The first objective is the CFI Plan 10x/0.25 ∞/-. The second is the BD Plan 10/0.25 210/0. The third is the M Plan 10/0.25 210/0.
You can see them with the adapters.
Note: the 67-52 is reversed on the photo, of course you cannot use it this way. The outer barrel on the M Plan has been removed forever.
The CFI Plan was fixed on a 70-200/4 telephoto zoom lens at 200mm, but the BD Plan and the M Plan were on a 180mm bellows, thus I got the same magnification.
The original pictures were cropped from 4368x2912px to 4200x2800px, so I lost the very small vignetting.
You will find below the 3 pictures, click on each one, you'll get a 2000px version. In this size all of them are nice for me, but there are small differents in original size which reveal in the 100% crops.
