Interbellum Bucharest
Take a stroll down the boulevards of interbellum Bucharest

Discover the charm of the Little Paris of old! Join us on a walk down the boulevard and follow in the footsteps of the high society from the interbellum period. We begin our route Victoriei Square with architectural and cultural edifices: Antipa Natural History Museum, Romanian Peasant's Museum and the Museum of Geology. We continue on in the shade of Kiseleff Boulevard, where you may delight in lush green scenery, sumptuous residences and monuments - Kiseleff Park, King's Plaza, the Triumphal Arch. Up next is the Village Museum - where we get to learn of Romanians' traditional way of life - and Herăstrău Park, where the road will carry you over footbridges and lakeside paths, amongst floral arrangements and swans. Starting from Aviators' Boulevard you will find a select neighbourhood, where you mustn't miss Zambaccian Museum, the Romanian Cultural Institute and the National Museum of Maps and Old Books. Thus you will be able to pride yourself on having browsed the places frequented during the Golden Age by "anybody who's anybody".
