Europe District hosts annual Partner Workshop

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District hosts its sixth annual Partner Workshop on Feb. 17 at Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Germany. The forum brought together district leaders and their key partners from multiple agencies throughout European Command and Africa Command to discuss mutual challenges, strategies and opportunities. More than 100 officials representing over 25 organizations attended the daylong session. Presentations touched on topics such as: Installation Management Command-Europe transformation, best practices for project execution, the European Reassurance Initiative, European Infrastructure Consolidation and stakeholder perspectives. The workshop allows Europe District and its partner organizations to collaborate and discuss barriers to successful project delivery, review future programs and projects, share lessons learned and identify areas of improvement. Col. Matthew Tyler, district commander, also presented Certificates of Appreciation to several representatives for their efforts and contributions to the partnership.
