The agreement is rejected by the EP's trade committee
The Petitions Committee debated an anti-ACTA petition signed by some 2.8 million people on Tuesday 19th June.
The vote was held on the 21st June - the trade committee rejected the controversial agreement.
Petitioners had called on the European Parliament to "stand for a free and open Internet and reject the ratification of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, which would destroy it".
