Mr World Wide Web at the EP

Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the founder of the World Wide Web, is pictured after the press conference at the EP. He came to Brussels as main speaker of the 8th STOA Annual Lecture on Tuesday 1 December.

STOA is the Parliament's "science and technology options assessment" panel, used in partnership with external experts to help with technological or scientific policy making.

The theme of this year's lecture is "One web, free and open for all". The panel will also discuss the theme of "trust and the web" .
