Vulture funds stunt on Wall Street, 20 April
As World Leaders meet in New York this week to sign the climate agreement and discuss the Sustainable Development Goals, money which could help fund these agreements was being stashed away in the pockets of creditors known as 'vulture funds'. Argentina has had to take on new loans to pay 10 billion dollars to the Vulture Funds, which refused to participate in a debt restructuring agreement to resolve the country’s debt crisis. Time for a global debt workout framework!
