Synthesis gas, Armenia
Arthur Gasparyan, a farmer who uses synthesis gas to heat his greenhouse and saves 70% on heating costs
The EU-funded “BioRuralHeating” project inspired the Armenian town of Talin to produce and use synthesis gas. The gas is produced from biomass – a renewable source. The gas is used to heat a greenhouse, helping to save up to 70% on heating costs.
