Hey gang. I just want to say sorry that I don't always get to comment on everyone's stream very often. I am so busy that time management is a difficult venture. I just wanted to say thanks for all your nice comments. You all really help me decide which photos I end up putting on my website for sale and what not :)

Right after my previous photo, a loud crack of lightning and thunder busted out and it started to rain and the 'wall of light' moved further east (to the right). I recomposed zoomed out to catch most of it in my frame. I liked the effect of the water droplets on the lake. I had to wipe off my grad filter several times do to the rain but managed to get this photo off with no drops on it.
The orange light entity that was moving across the sky was one of the most dramatic and interesting displays of nature I have ever seen. It was like a sand storm, dust storm, or blizzard in a way except it was more beautiful to my eyes.
I took one more exposure (although I liked this one the best), and it was over. I packed up my gear hiked back to camp and drove off. It snowed here later that night and they closed the road shortly after.
