Tips for Transplanting Success
A few weeks ago I watched in horror as some neighbors transplanted dozens of plants in the middle of the afternoon on the hottest day of the year and proceeded to not water them for a week. Needless to say, the plants haven't done very well, sadly, many of them are now crispy brown sticks. I realized that perhaps some people just don't know the things I learned from my gardening parents and all the gardening books I've read. Here are a few tips I've learned in my years of gardening, no doubt many of you seasoned gardeners have even more great ones to add in the comments.
