Ghost 102:365 [ explored! ]
I'm about to start reading Avi's The Seer of Shadows which is about a turn-of-the-century Spirit Photographer. I guess I have ghosts on the brain! I found a lovely quote that fits right in with my whole newly-discovered love of blogging through photographs:
We all have ghosts,
things we love and hate.
One day something in life -
a word, a phrase, something in a book, a beautiful woman - clicks,
and part of that world takes on a special meaning.
And you realize you have a story to tell.
~ Arturo Pérez-Reverte
(Spanish novelist and journalist)
I do have a story to tell. Or rather, many small parts of the larger story of my life. I love sharing them with you and reading your stories. It has been my favorite part of Flickr.
For Today's Random Fact from My So-Called Life: It has been gray and rainy all day long. Stasia and I took a ten minute walk in the woods and tried out a few exposure variations. This one turned out very much like what I was hoping for! It was a 30 second exposure with her standing still in the middle of her path for 15 seconds. Maybe next time we'll dress the part -- that would be way cool!
Hey, thanks all! This photo was Explored August 15, 2009 (#409)!
