Booth

UPDATE 2008.01.09: Our vet is pretty certain they are both PBGV's: Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens, rough coated French hound. Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen is pronounced "Puh-TEE Bah-SAY Gree-FOHN VON-day-uhn. " The name describes the basic characteristics of the breed as:

Petit: Small

Basset: Low to the Ground

Griffon: Rough Coated

Vendéen: Region in France Breed Originated

They are not sure what our new baby Booth is. The shelter thinks maybe a Lhasa Apso/Terrier or Brussels Griffon. I think Lhasa Apso/Chihuahua, after looking through some of the dog hybrid info. We only picked them up yesterday and already they act like they've always been part of the family.

Tempe & Booth (anyone a Bones fan?) were adopted from the Jersey Animal Coalition Shelter , 298 Walton Ave., South Orange, NJ. 07079.
