This is my second upload from our trip to Paris last weekend, sure the first one needed to be a shot of the famous Eiffel tower itself, it's a nightshot seen from the top of the 210m high Montparnasse tower.

This glass and metal ball can be found somewhere on the Eiffel tower, it was hidden behind a fence and most people would have passed by it unaware of its presence, I just caught a glimpse of it but sure couldn't resist to HDRrize this one !-)

I don't actually know what this thing represents, so if anyone knows do drop a comment and I will add the description.

The shot

A bit difficult, looking slightly higher than confortable over a fence and finding a solid base to do the 3 exposures.
Standard 3 exposure shot in RAW/ISO100 at f/11 using the Sigma 10-20mm lens.

Please help Frank in his search for the HDRizer

° A crop.
° A little extra contrast with curves.
° Some extra saturation.
° Dodging of the highlights.
° Smart sharpen filter.

All comments, criticism and tips for improvements are ( as always ) welcome.

@Andrea : If you consider the front the side where the stars of the european symbol is placed, the right front on the first floor.

inside this ball is an exhibition of a moving piston - it was running near the elevator taking people up the Eiffel Tower. Seems like this piston drives the elevator...but it's too small to power the lift.

The ball you are talking about is another ball that looks similar but is not this one.
