About

Close to the palace of justice there's a metal bridge running towards an elevator, there is a little platform in front of the elevator which gives a nice view over Brussels.

The shot

Put my tripod as close to the glass a possible, with one leg over the railing, look closely and you can see the tripod leg and the railing as well as my shadow. Pointed a bit down to get the nice rounded horizon so it looks like we are living on a ball, oh we are?-)

Standard 3 exposures [-2,0,+2 EV] in RAW/ISO100 at f/13 on a tripod using the Sigma 10mm fisheye.

Photomatix

Tonemapped using the detail enhancer.

Photoshop

° A very tiny curves.
° A dash of extra overal saturation.
° A bit more blue saturation and less lightness.
° Some dodging to emphasize the glass reflections in the sky so that they really look like that.
° An unsharp mask (200/2.1/20).
