    Hi, Paul...
I heard you were at Cut&Paste on Saturday night.
I was a contestant (the only female) and psyched to hear of your arrival as it spread around the green room.
    Thanks for coming out.

    hi paul,
i'm from austria, me and my friends are making a small magazine about satire, irony and some times simply nonsense, it's really small (1.000 copys), is it possible to use one of your drawings for one of our issues?

    hi paul,
I met you recently in Toronto. Thanks for graciously drawing a sketch for my son. He has hopes of pursuing comic art and was thrilled with your advice. Do you have any original art from 100% for sale? i really loved that series. thanks again, warren email:
  • Hey Logan 5y

Hey Paul, I've been talking with Pheoris and he recommended I contact you. He showed me some of your work a couple of years ago and told me some stories. I was enthralled and after 2 years of study with him and 2 years working at the Cartoon Library at OSU I find myself In New York. I don't know any other way of contacting you but Pheoris told me you wouldn't object to meeting with a fan and a young illustrator if I ever found myself in the area. So, if you could spare an hour or two sometime I'd love to talk to you about your industry and your craft. My name is Logan and you can contact me on flickr if it's convenient.

Hi Paul, my name is Paloma, I am an aspiring comic book artist/painter/animator from Ottawa (Canada) and I am studying in Montreal.
I heard you are very into manga's, and I was wondering if you could recommend me a few good ones to go get. I know they exist, I just cant find very many. I'm in love with movies like Akira, Tekkonkinkreet, and spirited away. When I was a kid I read this manga called Hot Gimmick that I realize is not all that great now but really inspired me when I was younger.

Hey Paul, I know you're probably too busy to take any requests but there's this really cool anime I've started watching called Birdy the Mighty: Decode and the graphics/drawings are very cool. I would love to see how you interpret your drawings of the main character Birdy Cephon. If you ever get the chance you should definitely take a look at it (if you don't already know what i'm talking about). The fight scenes are really fast paced and the style of the anime changes to a very sketchy looking type of graphic. Anyways, thanks for taking your time to read this; it would be really awesome if you could do it. Chris

    Hi Paul,

I work for the Voskel art gallery in Paris (France) and we are currently preparing a new show called ROCK in October with Arnaud Pagès (a French painter / graphic designer) known for his work on such famous people that dictators, serial killers, the greats of this world ...)

I contact you today for two reasons. First I am a big fan of your work. I discovered your work a few years ago, thanks to "The Batman Year 100" and then I read all the graphic novels I could find! I could go on for hours, but my English is not very good and I prefer to go straight to the point, which leads to my second reason!

We have just launched a contest (call for artists) for the exhibition ROCK. The goal is to select and reinterpret one or more folders from a list of 20 legendary rock covers. 15 works will be selected and displayed among all proposals.

And with this public contest comes a"Hall of Fame" with guest artists!
We will offer different artists from different artistic fields (street art, graphic novels / comics, Manga, etc) to join us and exhibit a work chosen from the list.
We offer a choice of three sizes: 40x40cm, 60x60cm or 90x90cm.

I immediately thought of you as a guest! And it would be great if you could accept our invitation and present your work with our other guests!

If you give me an email address I can send you more information about the artist, our partners and the Gallery. You can throw in the meantime take a look on our website

I remain at your disposal for further information and I hope you will respond positively to us!

    Best regards.
