garden grub 33:120 :: zucchini spaghetti
we don't have a lot of kitchen gadgets (every summer i use a chopstick to pit cherries), but i do love my mandolin. i used it tonight to julienne one of the three remaining farmers' market zucchini, which i then sauteed with some red pepper flakes and garlic, basil, and parsley from the garden. that all got tossed together with some thin spaghetti. alongside, we had a salad with arugula, tomatoes, and cucumbers from the garden and homemade croutons. not bad for a tuesday!
