Circumabulating the Potala Kora gives a boost of good karma and pilgrims come from far and away to walk the path around the Dalai lama's former home and palace.
The kora takes you past prayer wheel after prayer wheel and eventually gets you into the Lukhang Park, or Chingdröl Chiling (Liberation) Park. Here you find the Naga lake and the Lukhang Temple.
The whole park has been vastly developed by the Lhasa authorities and besides all the pilgrims, now contains a playground and culture center.
The Potala Palace, former home to the Dalai Lama's of Tibet and now a Chinese Government-run museum.
