Trump booed as he arrives at NYC fundraiser
New York, NY - Hundreds of New Yorkers gathered outside Cipriani at 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan on December 2, 2017; to protest Trump's $1,000 dollars a plate brunch, a fundraiser hosted by the Republican National Convention for his 2020 re-election campaign.

The tax breaks for corporations and the wealthy will create a deficit that will decimate funding for healthcare, education, clean energy, and housing, and many other programs people rely on.

The group gathered across the street from Cipriani's in midtown, some held signs that read "Rise and Resist," "Tax Cuts Destroy Lives" and "The GOP is Complicit." One participant dressed as the grim reaper and had the words "GOP Tax Scam" written on his scythe.

As they waited, the protesters chanted "Shame on You" to the fundraiser guests and "Hey, hey, ho, ho, Donald Trump has got to go."

The crowd of protesters loudly booed Trump's motorcade when arrived at the NYC Fundraiser, forcing Donald Trump to use Cipriani's service entrance at 41st street to avoid the protesters.
