In the `Gainsborough' Chapel, is an outstanding group of C17 monuments, all of black and white marble, echoed by the black and white marble floor.........Penelope Noel (died1633). Marble monument with beautiful bust, in an aedicule, with heraldry and putti; attributed to John & Matthias Christmas.
