Gull feeding frenzy

Semiahmoo Bay, Blaine WA. Strong cold winds were kicking up big swells. A hundred gulls were finding these 'worms' along the shore. It has been suggested this could be a 'clam worm' or Nereis brandti. Difficult to ID and may have been brought to the surface by spawning or something different.
