Beverley United Band on Westwood 1910 (archive ref PO-1-14-164)

(Buy exclusive prints of this image from East Riding Photos)

This is the Beverley United Band, assembled here on the Westwood in 1910. No doubt they would have supplied the town with a brass chorus of Christmas carols during the festive period. As far as we know, they didn’t include a ‘Sergeant Pepper’ among their number!
