A Different Perspective...
...sometimes that's all you need
I've been thinking for a while now after about two years of serious shooting that I would finally try my hand at bringing in actual clients instead of family and friends. Even though I'm mostly self taught, I did garner experience from some people that had been in business for a while and understood what they were doing... it also helps being a voracious reader. Anyway, I then proceeded to browse our local Craigslist for photographers in our area to see my "competition" and find that most look like they've just picked up a camera for the first time. Dont get me wrong, I understand that this is a rant established photogs have been at for a while and I believe (somewhat) in free enterprise...but come on. I guess I must be in a rut, I shoot anything and everything but am not sure where I'm going with it yet. I would love to be a second shooter to a wedding photog in central ohio or even apprentice under someone till I understand my path. Oh well, sorry if you decided to read this entire thing.........in other news.........
