Members of the union Industrial Workers of Great Britain (IWGB) who clean the London branch in Tower Hill of French bank Société Générale, gathered outside the office on Friday 5 October in protest against cuts.

The cleaners, previously earning poverty wages, were finally awarded the London Living Wage of £8.30 per-hour on 3rd September 2012.

Three weeks later, on September the 24th, Societe Generale and their contractor agreed to cut the cleaners working hours by 50%
