This is Michel who is the manager of the Municipal Camping in Lezignan / Corbières, and he is preparing 'to-days menu' while it is still well before noon. The previous evening programme included a great group of 3 musicians playing, but the weather changed dramatically after just a couple of numbers, and the concert was stopped for abt. 45 minutes, while the entire staff counting 7-8 people, were fighting to cover instruments, loudspeakers and all other electrical equipment from the pouring rain, - and I mean POURING rain. With that done, they continued playing/singing still with heavy rain falling, and the applause when they finally stopped, lasted for several minutes.
Afterwards, the staff were fighting to clean the place up, and most of them didn't go to sleep until 3 or 4 in the morning, but still - here at 10:45 the next morning - Michel had already been working for several hours.
It's a great camping site with friendly people, but it is clearly a lot of work too. I thank you Michel and the rest of your staff for some wonderful days again this year, and look forward to seeing you again later.
