proving yourself wrong so soon, emma?

yes, i am. haha. a while after uploading the previous image [which was actually yesterday's] i had a conversation with my mother about a $1.7 million bugatti. why, why god why anyone would spend so much money on a CAR when there are starving people on the streets, selling themselves for food, for drug addictions, for alcohol to numb the pain of their lives. but maybe they'll be going so fast in their stupidly expensice car they don't notice them.

i promise

i promise now

that if i ever [and its rather unlikely] got to a position of immense wealth, i would be charitable. money is not happiness, but sometimes it is health and can be the difference between life and death.

wow. people are so stupid sometimes. a CAR? as long as it drives and has a radio, i'm happy.

    Great focus & that quote ! <3
Very true. I promised as well, that if I were to inherit any abundance of wealth that I would be charitable. I even promised myself that I would spend years of charitable work and any missionary trips.

Tell that to someone who needs money to buy food or pay the rent. Not having enough money to pay for the basic needs is pure suffering. Suffering you can only avoid by having money. So yes, money can make you happy.
  • emma hope 6y

    tell that to benjamin franklin.

i was clearly not making the point that not having the money to pay for basic needs is a good thing. i was making the point that having too much money can lead to greed and selfishness, that some people should be more wise with how they spend it other than buying stupidly expensive things when there are people starving on the streets. anyway, an absence of suffering is not necessarily happiness.

so um, read the caption next time :)

Like politicians, they want more and more... here in argentina, they have enough... but they want more, my boss is an example of it, she asked a loan to the goverment of "a lot of money" and pople who are doing "politics" want a % of that, why? what make drag a person to want more and more? isnt enough the paid check for 10K USD? seriously... money can change everything...
People lives and are happy with no money, hard time maybe (sometimes) but what´s happyness anyway? its a SINGLE answer... but i think this quote is UNIVERSAL.
  • Romany Soup 10mo

This quote is crap and an insult to the poor. Say that to a homeless person or someone who needs money for medical treatment. This is too generalized and comes from someone who has plenty of money and isn't happy. Nothing to do with money.
  • Romany Soup 10mo

Yes and i read the other comments, just hate these stupid quotes.
