# 7 Intergration

    Challenge #7
Remove the separation between yourself and your subject.
    — Graeme Williams

As you maybe aware from my photostream I visit this Bridge often in my lunch break as it gives me time to come away from quite a stressful environment.

Whilst I didn't want to produce something so literal for this challenge I thought I had time to experiment with some film double exposures.

      The B-side

      Hi Em
You know me ever grumpy and twitchy! IMO the B side is by far the superior shot. For me it brings an ethereal quality; suggestion of your dreams, this place of relaxation (as you point out), conscious/sub-conscious....shall I keep on.

I agree with Mark, the B side has such a dreamy quality; light, delicate and celestial. It's my favourite of the 2, fits the brief beautifully especially as you have such a connection with this particular spot

I like them both, but am inclined to agree that the b side has an extra something about it....sorry Em!

      Hi Mark W RussellKatie Smith
      Julia M Cameron
Thank you for your comments and please don't be sorry (Mark you are not being grumpy!) It was a tough call between the 2 of these and the only reason I decided to post the picture above, was that I thought that my b-side was very close in many ways to #5. I wanted to have a variety of shots in my 26 set hence my choice of above (which I do like). Strange that for some-one that hates having their picture taken I end up posting a couple of pictures that are 'self portraits'!! 26 continues to bring me surprises in the way that I work and the images that I end up making for each challenge. Again thank you for your comments :-)

Much prefer the hand as it looks likes it is coming from the viewers body and into the subject, the head version looks like it could be separate from the viewer. Great take on the brief.

Of the two, I agree with the masses.. B side. But I appreciate your reasoning.

Very nice take on the brief. I agree with group: The B side says so much more.

Great surreal image. Like a lot of b&w films from the thirties. Dreamy.

I like this one but to be honest I prefer better your B side, it has a dreamy quality that isn´t present here.
