The last day of winter. [Explored]

I am thrilled that my photo got on explore, this is my first photo to get there so I am very excited! :D
The sunset was beautiful on the 1st of May '11.
I took a walk at about 9 o'clock in the evening because the weather was very still. At about 21:45 the sunset was at it's best. I had positioned my self at that spot at about 21:40 so I got pretty good coverage of the beautiful sunset.
A little article/blog about my photography right now.
God I love my new (old) Nikon 28mm.. The sharpness in this thing is amazing for about $300.
Although the EXIF says f/2.8, that's just the maximum aperture. The lens was set to either f/8 or f/11 and those two apertures are where the lens really shines. The lens is good at f/2.8, f/4 and f/5.6, but it is outstanding on f/8 and f/11. I am looking to upgrade to a classic 5D so I am looking forward to using my new lens collection on full-frame. My lens collection now consists of the Nikon 28mm, a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II and a Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM. The 50mm has served me well the past year, and the 85mm is said to achieve great results on full-frame so that's exciting.
