Ancient Filippoi, Greece ... HDR

Here in GREECE our glorious PAST is still what steadily guides our future expectations, what actively feeds our pride and supports our hopes, what acts as a comfort to our recurrent mistakes as a people, a drastic painkiller to the bruises that our self-catastrophic immorality and continuous wrongdoing carved onto our very souls ... At least this is the sentiment that I believe the majority of my co-citizens feel but alas not all of them ...

There are still people all around us that keep on understanding nothing of what really "hit us on the head", of the real causes that lead to our economic catastrophe, of the habitual misbehaviours that for the last thirty years or so deprived almost two Greek generations of the prerogative to a better future by simply shaping their choices, by leaving them only a few alternatives ... Those people are still leading their pathetic lives with immense arrogance and keep on insulting the rest of the Greek people by imposing dirty, vulgar, unethical behaviours over them .... They must by all means be stopped and be punished for that !!!!

Ancient Greeks carved the paths of humanity's collective mentality because they were acting together as a people ... Because they were leading their lives with honour, they were trying to find their individual prosperity through the prosperity of the rest of the society that they were living in and with ... A behaviour that we, their children idiotically stopped practising and now we are condemned to suffer the consequences of our stupidity and ignorance ...

The above seen photo, processed and presented in low-key mode, was taken from the area of Ancient Filippoi at the Kavala Prefecture of North Greece a few minutes before sunrise ...
