Bronze Age Egyptian bust_1278

Bet She'an was an important station for Egyptian caravans and eventually became an Egyptian administrative center. It is mentioned in documents dating from the reigns of Thutmose III (ca. 1470 BCE) to Rameses III (12th century BCE).

The bust is located in the Egyptian governor's house.
