DE1 DE4 Down Empty Ore Whyalla North 29 12 2000

With rail operation taken over during 1999, the loco and wagon fleet of the BHP Steelworks at Whyalla came under the control of the Australia Southern Railroad. Here DE1 fresh in ASR livery leads fellow DE Class member DE4 still in the old BHP livery as they past the 6km ballast piles with an empty rake of rsk class hoppers on their way to collect another load from the mine at Iron Duke on December 29th 2000.
