The Pictorial review Magazine was a ladies fashion magazine first published Sept. 1899
its main purpose was to sell patterns made by William Paul Ahnelt's American Fashion Company.
by 1925 it bragged of having a world record breaking 2.5 million subscribers.
in 1932 when sales were declining Ahnelt sold his ownership
in 1937 it was merged with the Delineator
The Pictorial Review ceased publication in 1939
This quarterly embroidery edition was a offshoot of the main monthly magazine
