Part two of our meal last Sunday evening: Grilled Lamb Kofta Kebabs with Pistachios and Spicy Salad Wrap. This was also from Jamie at Home, but we substituted almonds for the pistachios and used the minted lemon yogurt from the fava fritters rather than the plain stuff that this recipe called for. The fava fritters were good, but this was even better. It satisfied the craving for gyros that I've had for years.
I also got to use my new backgrounds/props for the pictures this week. I bought a bamboo cutting board from Crate & Barrel and an acacia wood platter from Sur la Table. Since I don't like the wood of our dining table, this is a good substitute. I used one of my new paint posters as well, which is visible in the fava fritter picture.
