mesquite chocolate chip cookies

From Super Natural Cooking by Heidi Swanson. (Originally from 101 Cookbooks.) The verdict: good, interesting, don't really need too many of them at a time. They're kind of intense, but the mesquite flour is a nice addition. The only hard part about making them was stirring in the oats and chocolate chips. By the end, it was like trying to stir cement.
