Belloto painting in situ
The lesser known pupil and nephew of Canaletto, Bernardo Belloto, was court painter to the king of Poland in the 1700s. Reproductions of his paintings of Warsaw views have recently been cleverly installed 'in situ' in the streets of the city. You can stand pretty much in the position from which the view was painted and compare then and now.
