New Year's Resolutions
Taken for The "I Have to Shoot What?!" 52-Week Challenge - Week 1: "Resolution"
Like many other people, I've been thinking about resolutions for the New Year. I want to improve, do better, change in many ways - stop some things, do more of others - but by now I've learned that I'm not going to be completely different from what and who I've been in the past. And I'm not going to be perfect. And I don't need to be. I just need to make some changes, some improvements, over time, and be more (or less, weight-wise - : } ) of who I am.
I'll still make mistakes - I just hope I won't keep making the same ones over again.
Above all, I don't want to let my expectations or disappointment dampen my appreciation and gratitude for what I have in my life as it is. Life is good.
