The London Eye forms a pink ring for Valentine's Day.
Though it moves slowly, it very rarely stops, which means it can look quite odd in long exposures.
The lights on the Eye are actually more purple than pink. By using the "nostalgia" picture style, the colours shifted, giving the lighter pink effect. I then desaturated most of the colour channels to really emphasise the pink.
In case you're wondering why I was tramping around London in the cold rather than romancing Fi, the answer is that she was taking charge of her Brownie troop as they performed "The Gang Show"* at the Rhoa McGaw theatre in Woking. Not the greatest of timing!
