Blue bee blocks

For Do Good Stitches - the Love Circle's Box of Crayons quilt.

For the block on the right, I used Badskirt Amy's tutorial for the x and + block, but I increased the block size to 12.5".

You know that I'm going to have to ask you for the "quilt math" on the parts, right? I signed up to do the QAL made with a block size of 8" www.flickr.com/groups/1623980@N25/ but haven't started yet and 12.5" sounds so much more reasonable!

Karen LOL, I figured somebody would ask that. : )

    Fabric A (the solid blue cross in the middle): 2 - 2.5" squares, 1 - 2.5" x 6.5" strip

    Fabric B (blue with white dots): 4 - 2.5" x 3.5"

    Fabric C: (Amy Butler blue/turquoise floral): - 3.5" squares

    Four other prints: 5.5" squares

freshlypieced Thanks - you're the best! This makes it jelly roll friendly which is an unexpected bonus.

Thanks Lee - I think you just solved my dilemma of which block to choose for my upcoming bee month! The upsizing is perfect.
