With Project 365 over I have taken a little break, but I'm getting back into things with a challenge from Chris_Hancock via Get Pushed. If you haven't come across his work yet go and have a look, he has got some stunning gritty B&W shots! Here's his challenge to me:
"I love all of the color in your stream and a great number of your photos have a dreamy softness. So, your challenge is to go sharp and high key in black and white. I'd like to see whites that are blinding and edges so sharp that they will cut the unsuspecting Flickr viewer. How about you choose the subject, but if you can do as much work in the camera as you can. I don't mind you doing some post processing, but see how close you can get before you do any "work" on your photo."
Well well, this was A LOT harder than I anticipated, and I don't think I managed to accomplish such sharpness while tryin to keep the photo harmonious or somewhat interesting... I did try my best though and pushed myself outside my comfort zone - and that is what matters isn't it? :)
