Cannon Hill Park - Olympic Breeze - Birmingham 2012

I went to Cannon Hill Park, when it was raining (the park was empty - being that it was wet), to take some shots of that Olympics / Paralympics related sailing floral sculpture.

First time I've tried my current camera in the rain. While the camera itself got wet, the lens seemed ok on this one (it didn't have any droplets on it). Maybe that was due to the extra layers of plastic in the lens (for zooming in and out).

It is called 'Olympic Breeze' and it won Gold at the RHS National Flowerbed competition at RHS Tatton Show. Inspired by four time Gold medalist Ben Ainslie.

Had to be quick due to the rain.
