King Edward Inn - The Ben Jonson - Corporation Street, Birmingham

Kept seeing this building at lunchtimes while out of work, so thought I might as well take it. It is an interesting looking Edwardian pub building from 1905.

I decided to take it from under the overpass. Being that it is winter, the pavements around here are quite slippy. You can't really see any of the ice on the pavements (unless you zoom in).

It was a Mitchells & Butlers pub that used to serve gold medal ales, stouts, wines and spirits.

Think it is no longer a pub. Not sure if it was a club or not.

Mtchells & Butlers sign.

It might be a former night club called The Ben Jonson / Chapter 11.

The King Edward Inn (formerly the Ben Jonson) in Birmingham is locally listed as Grade A.
