Lego Luger P-08 (Semi-Auto)

So, after a short break, I decided it was about time to upload my first Lego gun replica to my photostream: the Luger P-08!

Before I start, I want to mention (as I say on profile as well) that I always go for function first, followed by the detail of the gun. I know this gun isn't perfect, it's just because I wanted it to work properly.

OK, so one of the things I really wanted to add to this firearm is the blowback and a removable magazine. The mag makes a nice "click" sound when you insert it completely into the mag well.

It holds 6-7 rubber bands witch it fires semi-automatically (really near the standard 8-round magazine of the original Luger).

This gun fires way better then my Semi Auto Pistol RBG (www.flickr.com/photos/elitelegoguns/7250706872/in/photost...) and is way more reliable.

The only drawback on the gun is some of the detail: the trigger guard is actually curved in real life and the space between the trigger guard and the beginning of the barrel should be smaller (I can't change because otherwise the spindle where you load the rubber bands on wouldn't work.

But most other dimensions are 1:1, as I've got an airsoft Luger with the exact scale.

This is is the medium barrel size, parenthetically.

Other then that it's a great sidearm and I really enjoy using this gun.

Range: +7 meters (+22 feet).

So, if you're to lazy to read all this, here are the overall features of the gun:

-Semi-auto mechanism

-6-7 RB capacity

-Working blowback

-Removable magazine

-Front sights (no rear sights, unfortunately, cause it's still a RBG)

-(Optional) You need to cock the gun in order to fire the first RB (as the real one)

I might make instructions in LDD.
