    They're done. Tiennie's pattern is great, but I chose the wrong yarn. The Madelinetosh was nice, but not appropriate for the pattern. Consequently, you can't really see the texture. And because you can't see the texture, I let these sit because the textured stitch was kind of a pain to do. SO, in order to liberate my needle, I changed the textured rib to just plain rib. It kills me that you have to look hard to see the difference.

    I'm over brown yarn. I'm over textured socks with dark, mottled yarn.

    But the most important thing is that I have my US 1.5 needle BACK so I can use if for my Socks Revived pattern. Although it was a slog to finish the second sock, it feels great to cross this off the WIP list.

      i hate it when i choose the wrong yarn for a project but good for you for finishing these! i would have frogged and been mad at myself :)
