Sadly, Beatrix got into my yarn and "knitted" with it. I have so much untangling to do! This project is on hold until I get things straightened out.

Oh, dear. I keep thinking I'm past that stage, then my Maggie "knits" for me. Good luck!

@zigzagstitch: Yes, please tell me at what age this ends? Perhaps when I can teach her to knit herself? When is that? Kindergarten? Sooner??

@gleek: We'll see, indeed! In B's defense, I leave yarn on most surfaces so it's not like there's an off-limits basket. And a "no touching mama's yarn" rule just makes her frantic to get into it. I don't blame her, I would probably do the same thing. :)

Actually, Maggie is now 3 1/2 and (fingers crossed!) she hasn't pulled needles out in a while. The latest thing she got into was my needle case and she dumped it all over the place. My bad for leaving such an enticing toy around.

My boy learned to knit when he was 5 I think. He hasn't knit in a long time though, he prefers drawing. If you sit down and try to knit with Beatrix I think you'll know pretty quickly if she's ready or not. (But she's still pretty young, right?)
